Moleskine:
- The theme for the day was intended to be "Crazy Train"...as in "going off the rails on a crazy train," because we spent most of the morning finding fun things to do on the railing around the park intended to keep people upright. By the end of the session, it was suggested that we re-title as, "When Harry Met Sally," due to the pervasive moaning throughout. I chose to compromise, something currently frowned upon in DC, with, "When Ozzy Met Sally."
- Trumpets...the Warriors were reunited. It was a sight for sore eyes.
- Stonehenge...MickeyT amazed us all with the depth of all things Spinal Tap. As it turns out, Dana Carvey and Billy Crystal played the role of mimes in the movie. I bet that he plays a mean game of trivial pursuit.
- Tomatoes...it has been said that patience is a virtue. That proverb held true this morning as a lone fighter jet emerged from the gloom to perform a fly by while we struggled catch our breath on the tarmac of the COS. This ghost rider was approved.
- Gumby...it doesn't seem quite right to recap Gauntlet without a man down story involving Dredd. Perhaps it had something to do with his unexpected participation in that sissy stretchy stuff. Nah...couldn't be.
- "A man's growth is seen in the successive choirs of his friends." -RWE
