NakedMan Moleskin:

_ Rewriting History – After BlackBird’s 17-76, we agreed the country’s Founding Fathers should have signed the Declaration of Independence in 1612.

_Random Act of Patriotism – After completing our Dips, the Faithful was approached by one of the park’s patriots who had found 74’s car keys, which apparently were lost somewhere between 74’s transmission, oil pan and lower half of his engine block. However, after studying our patriot’s motivation and given the fact that it is indeed Independence Day, the Faithful determined that our patriot had been compelled to free 74’s keys from the tyranny of the engine block, and was adamant in returning such keys to its natural state, i.e. 74’s pocket. Upon witnessing this heroic act, several of the Faithful sprinted to the parking lot to quell any further rush to declare other car keys independent of their hiding places. Aye, brothers, as we’ve witnessed in Egypt and Tunisia, revolutionary action occurs when the willingness to live with the risk of an uncertain future trumps the willingness to continue to be subordinated to tyrannical rule. Hide your keys better, brothers. Hide them better. Before leaving us, our patriot was kind enough to comment on 74’s Lionel Ritchie and Wham CD collection and the fact that the grips on the Ping Eye 3’s in 74’s trunk were worn and needed to be replaced.

_ Kotter: Lee returns just a few weeks after the birth of his daughter. No need to set an alarm, obviously, but the guy ran to the site instead of driving. Very strong.

_ Today’s Chuck: Chuck Norris doesn’t celebrate the Fourth of July. The Fourth of July celebrates Chuck Norris.

_ TClaps to Tryon and Tryon 2.0 (already a Mud Run veteran at the young age of 16). This pair was the War Daddy and the War Baby.

_TClaps also to 74. While the rest of us were gassed and could barely scale the retaining wall on Jacob’s Ladder, this guy was doing hurdles over it. Afterward, he said he was just “unleashing his inner-Chuck Norris.” Or maybe he was in a rush to confirm that his car was still safe.

_Where’s Waco? After all the props in Saturday’s backblast about his stellar attendance, Waco was a no-show. Must have been a glitch at the factory with the Shakeweights and the Workout Thong. Either that or the guy finally proved he was human and took a well-deserved day off.

_Independence Park. This was the Faithful’s first venture to Independence Park, appropriate for Independence Day. Initial feedback was positive as IP provides numerous hills, walls and open areas for the F3 to find its groove. And, there’s a nearby Starbucks for coffeteria banter (albeit seating is limited).

Hope everyone had a great Fourth.

  1. Nice to see 74 step up where he belongs on 7/4. Perhaps, it was a coincidence...I think not.
