F3/Latta--5/30/11--Feeling A Whole Latta Pain

Aye, the ShovelFlag tilled new ground on Monday at Latta Park, where OBT planted it for a special Memorial Day workout.

The 21 Faithful in attendance observed a moment of silence in memory of those who fought and died for our country. The Rock offered up a prayer for them, for our men and women who have served and continue to serve in uniform, for they protect our freedom and make our country great.

NakedMan Moleskin:

1. Another four FNGs out for the workout, including a couple headlocked by the tag team of Cougar/BlackBird. 3x claps to all and also to Table and The Rock for doing a fine job showing off all the unique features of the Latta Park site.

2. Antonio Table tested out a new exercise: the Ninja Jump. It’s pure Zuzana – from her aptly named “Take It Off” workout (LINK: http://www.bodyrock.tv/2011/05/16/take-it-off-workout/ , best opened from home, probably after the wife is in bed). Pro: Good leg work. Con: Not so easy on the knees – dog-walking Dilworth neighbors likely had a good laugh.

3. The workout was a test of a new site. Send feedback to OBT and The Rock.

4. We need a better name than "modified Jacob's Ladder" for what Antonio Table and The Rock added at the end on the field at St. Pat's. Maybe it was the heat and humidity, maybe it was just that it came at the end of an already tough workout, but a Jacob's Ladder with pullups at the top and burpees at the bottom? Forget smoking -- that's full on char-grilling.
